Bob was on the Wrestling Team at the Naval Academy, an honor student and graduated on the Dean's List (GPA greater than 3.4) and in the top 10% of his class in Annapolis, Maryland.
Bob was also active all four years in the Naval Academy Choir the "Glee Club" and the Chapel Choirs.
He also had a lead role in the Glee Club's Theater group, the"Masquerader's" production of "The Pirates of Penzance" as a Senior Midshipman at the Academy! This helps explain Bob's tendency to hum and sing!
Bob went on to post-graduate training and certification as Naval Nuclear Engineer. Bob was in the last class at Annapolis (Class of 1982) to be interviewed by the late Admiral Rickover. Admiral Rickover is widely regarded as the father of the modern nuclear navy. Bob was responsible for the propulsion plant on the Nuclear Submarine (SSN 690 USS Philadelphia)
Bobs department received an excellent rating by the Navy and the Operational Reactor Safeguards Examination (ORSE) Audit Teams while serving as the Main Propulsion Officer. That stringent attention to detail was later used in rehabbing homes and developing a thriving rental portfolio as an Austin Texas investor. After his naval service Bob worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Raytheon and as a Department Manager for Applied Materials New Product Introduction Department. Bob also coached the Manchester West High School Wrestling Team in New Hampshire for seven years where he coached seven highly successful teams, State Champions and a New England Champion. In the late 90's Bob became frustrated with most Realtor's lack of knowledge and systems. Bob decided to become his own Realtor and soon became his own best customer in the rehabilitation and resale of distressed property.
Bob and his wonderful wife and partner, Donna have four children Alan, David, Jessica and Angela.
Alan is in college in Washington State after serving in the Marine Corps in Iraq
David works in Austin at Walgreens Pharmacy after serving in the Army Rangers in Afghanistan.
Jessica and Angela both enjoy running in Cross Country and Jessica is active in the Theatre Department at Vista Ridge High School.
